Extra Ticket to Liverpool AC Milan Charlotte (8/2)

Unread post by newtoasu » Sat Aug 02, 2014 10:48 am

My son couldn't get off work so I have an extra ticket (no cost) to the Liverpool FC vs. AC Milan match this evening at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. The match starts at 6:30 PM. I could meet you to transfer the ticket or I can attempt to transfer it to your email via Ticketmaster.

If interested let me know via my email adrress (xxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.com). Also leave a reply to this post so I'll know to check my email. Since I am traveling it may be a little while (1 hour or so) before I can get back in touch with you.

Once the ticket has been claimed I will post a reply to this thread as well.

Manchester United v. Liverpool FC FS1 on DirecTV at 7 PM EST.

For the dyed-in-the-wool international soccer fans among us, FOX Sports 1 will telecast a treat for us tonight as Manchester United faces Liverpool FC in the final of the International Champions Cup in Miami's Sun Life Stadium.

Tonight’s soccer game isn’t quite the World Cup, but it does feature two of the world’s more prominent soccer clubs facing off in a championship match. Liverpool FC takes on Manchester United tonight in the final of the International Champions Cup, a mini-circuit which has showcased some of Europe’s best soccer teams in North American stadiums over the past ten days. Now the title comes down to the final two teams tonight at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, airing on a TV channel that some viewers will have difficulty finding on the dial.

The Liverpool FC vs Manchester United soccer game tonight has a start time schedule of 7:30pm eastern time in Miami Gardens, Florida. It airs on TV channel FS1 (Fox Sports 1), which is channel number 219 on DirecTV and 150 on Dish Network. The pregame show airs at 7 PM EST.

Man United reached the final by knocking out Spain's Real Madrid by a score of three goals to one over the weekend in Michigan. Liverpool FC found its way into tonight’s International Champions Cup final game by defeating Italy's Milan AC on Saturday by a two to nil score in North Carolina. There's a rumor afloat that newtoasu, disguised as a Liverpool forward, really notched the game winner Saturday night in Charlotte.

Now the two clubs face each other at a stadium more often used by the Miami Dolphins, who play the other kind of football, and whose team owner Stephen Ross has been at the forefront of the effort to increase the profile of soccer in the United States. Tonight’s game doesn’t count in any ongoing league standings, but it does offer bragging rights for whichever team from England knocks off the other.

I didn't make it onto the pitch on Saturday but me and 69,363 of my closest friends were there to cheer the Reds on! I was amazed at how lopsided the fans were. Probably at least 20-1 Liverpool fans vs. AC Milan fans.

Looking forward to a trip across the pond next August to catch some matches in those famous stadiums (Anfield, Old Trafford, Stanford Bridge, etc.).
