I'm watching. It looks like a capacity crowd. Mostly Bison, but it looks like Illinois State traveled pretty well.

Not the largest stadium though. Maybe 20,000 seats?

Can't both teams lose?
Don't want the Bizon to get a 4-peat, hard to root for Illinois State after they played a role in a very painful moment in our football history.

ISU's offensive play calling is holding them back. They have the best player in the FCS running the football, he gets 28 yards on first down, then you throw the ball three times and have to punt.

This reminds me of Armanti vs Flacco. But, this time Flacco has the better team and coaching.

For those who have watched App football since the late 1980's, does NDSU's offense remind you of the App offense, pre-spread?

O'Shaugnessy wreaking havoc for ISU like he did against us in 2012

A little. Same as far as power-running, but they incorporate a little of the read-option and some spread where we were more of the power I/occasional option team, depending on personnel.
Their defense does look a bit like a John Wiley-esque "bend but don't break" 4-3.

Should have had more bend there! ISU with the long TD run!

The prevent defense.....

ISU obviously doesn't believe in the prevent. 1 deep safety and man across. And a jailhouse blitz. Living on the edge, we'll see how it turns out (but I like the aggressiveness).
