Dusty Rhodes......another hero gone from our midst.

We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Dusty was one of the best. He cut a promo better than anyone. His battles with Ric Flair were some of the best ever. I met him once at a East Meck Football game. I believe his son played for East Meck. He had a cast on his arm from where he was attacked by the 4 Horsemen. When he got in the car he took it off and threw it in the passenger seat.

My favorite Duty Rhodes quote was in regards to Ric Flair. "He got constipation of the brain and diarrhea of the mouth."

My favorite quote from Dusty was, "This be a risky business" (with his lisp), while waving his finger back and forth. He and Ric Flair made wresting, during their time professional wrestling was at it's peak (because of them and a few others). After their retirement (once they left), professional wresting was never the same.

At the 1:49 mark, risky business.
