State Champions!!!
Hope you'll all indulge me for a moment. I just returned from Williamsburg, Va. attending the VHSL Scholastic Bowl Championships. My son's school, Honaker High School, won the 1A State Championship on Saturday. My son was one of the four starters as an 8th grader. I am a proud pop today!

Yes, Russell County.
The kids got a great welcome today when they got back. A Russell County deputy and a Honaker town policeman met them at the county line and escorted them back to the school where a large group was waiting to greet them.

My wife is from nearby, Lebanon, VA.
