ODU Football scheduling
Just ran across this article from a couple of weeks ago and thought it was interesting . For the most part, it mentions how ODU is scheduling for $$ games so they can build a new stadium, etc...
Note their 2020 schedule which has them playing Wake, Virginia, and North Carolina. Can you imagine the Mountaineer fan base if we pulled together a schedule like that one ?

Because ODU is in the tidewater area, they will always have an advantage over us and most G5 schools, in terms of scheduling P5 schools. Once they build a new stadium, that seats over 30 thousand, their going to leave us all behind in terms of scheduling h/h with P5 schools. When we moved up, and I looked at our regional competition, GS, UNCC, Marshall, even ECU, the one team I worried moving substantially ahead of us was ODU, because of their location in one of the best recruiting areas on the East Coast, and going forward their ability to schedule P5 schools. Recruits are going to love the idea of playing in a shiny new 35 thousand seat stadium, with one or two P5 schools showing up almost every year.
