Lucky Man, Tarkus, Pictures at an Exhibition, Brain Salad Surgery.....got me through a few semesters in Boone. What a very talented artist and musician. The music of the 60's and 70's included so many like him, unlike today's "artists." RIP Keith.

Just started a quest back into vinyl, brought LPs out of the mothballs, and had ironically just listened to ELP Trilogy within the last few days. Sounds great on vinyl and wears very well with time. RIP Keith Emerson

This is going to be a "thing" for many years to come, it may never stop in the lifetime for anyone that is reading this. In fact will become more common as all the media we have will allow more to be stars for enough people that they will be remembered years later. If you go back to pre-WWII years and before and media and fandom it just was not as big. Media was more local with local radio and such. With youth culture booming in the late 1950s and so many stars made in the late 1950s to 1970s and on to now that are now at that age that death can just happen by surprise (this) or be expected (David Bowie) due to cancer and such that is just more likely to get you as you get older.

I just bought a 4-disc Moody Blues retrospective...well worth the money.
