I am getting ads and popups even though I have passed the 150 minimum posts required to eliminate them.
Can you fix this from your end? This board will not allow me to view if I use adblocker.

Are you getting ads in the MMB section or at the YC homepage before you get to the forums? I still get ads at the YC page before I enter the MMB forums.

When I sign on to Yosef's Cabin mostly.

Ads are removed from the MMB. Not a way to do separate 100 posts on the main page. Also - if when you first get to the page you aren't signed in, it's going to treat you as a guest. Once you sign in it will see you have 100 posts.

This problem only started within this past week for whatever reason.

Does it ask you to allow access to your current location?

No.

Mine ask for location.

I never give location because it gives you localized ads and I think kicks off the unwanted popups. And I always go directly to MMB from my favorites.

I am wondering if you have a virus or somesuch that is serving you ads beyond what everyone gets at YC? Is this happening at other web sites? I wish I had more advice for you.
