This deserves a pat on the back. App volleyball is off to a 6-0 start with a 3-2 victory over ECU yesterday in Greenville. I do not know the strength of our out of conference slate, and things will tighten up in conference, but 6-0 is 6-0.

At the moment combined FH, VB, and WSOC are 15-2-1.

Our women are kicking some ass so far this year. It is great to see. Hope it continues.

The 3 fall womens teams are a combined 15-2-1 at the moment. Not too shabby.

Now 16-2-1 with VB 3-0 win over UNCG.

Working in Mooresville today in a small trade show at one of the local hotels. Our volleyball team is here. Playing in a tournament at Davidson. Have talked to several of them and they are quite an impressive group of young ladies. Currently studying as a team in the main lobby commons area. Seem very focused. Interesting to see firsthand what life on the road looks like for an App State athlete.

Right now we are in game 2 up 18-17. Lost 1st game badly.

Davidson has some excellent outside hitters

1-1. 25 23 second game. I’m heading up the hill now

Guess we can't win them all, lost 1-3

Davidson had much better talent from my viewpoint. We didn’t have the power hitters they had.

The season gets tougher from here on. We haven't played a tough schedule to date.
