Did not see that this has been posted yet. Great news for a former App Great!

Sources tell FootballScoop that LSU and coach Ed Orgeron has their next analyst in Mario Acitelli.

Would like to see him return to the mountain after his time at LSU as a position coach.

He will definitely be a great addition if ever back in Boone! First-class all the way.

If he's an analyst he needs to be careful not to "coach".

I had a good run with his Dad on here - his last high school game was the State Championship game against my old boys - the Western Alamance Warriors and the very LAST PLAY of the game was the point of contention :? - a few seconds left and the Warriors had one more play - our QB threw it deep and the WR caught it in the end zone - our side went crazy and the next thing we see are the Charlotte Catholic running and jumping on each other and celebrating. It was at Duke and they keep showing it on the big board and we were all screaming - "He caught the Ball!!!" - Afterwards I called one of the coaches and he said the refs had told them NOTHING - The QB lived across the street from us and I finally caught up with him later that night - He said they were finally told that YES, our guy had caught the ball and controlled it and his feet were in the end zone but they ruled when brought the ball down it hit on the 1 inch line - Game Over ---
Mario's Dad and I had a running discussion about that for his 4 years and because of that I followed him very closely - His next game, by the way, was as a starter at The Big House

I’m an Eastern Alamance Eagle. The old Mid State 3A conference had good rivalries. We had a good one with you guys during my time on the grid iron.
