Miami hosting Alabama, and because I have a Jack Russel Terrorist, haven't been able to watch the early part till now...any obersvations?

Also, Texas and Louisiana are about to kick off..both rank between 20 and 25...La could do the Sun Belt a big favor with a win.

Agreed. Sun Belt related, Georgia State stunk it up big time today.

man if Miami doesn't get something going, they might not even be ranked next week. We want them ranked.

Of course, it's Alabama but Alabama is on pace to win 80-0.

1. Alabama is ridiculous.
2. Hard to tell how good Miami will be against collegiate level teams.

Miamis pass rush is going to give us fits. They aren't getting home today but they are getting consistent penetration against Bama. Chase and Ponce are going to have to figure out a way to neutralize that facet of Miamis D, their secondary seems so so(again hard to judge against Bama).

Ga Southern struggling with an FCS team.
ULM stinks like always.
Ga State got hammered by Army.

Wonder if the conference spent too much time reading about how good it was going to be. Meanwhile CUSA starting off the year with multiple P5 wins…

I’m guessing Miami is a 17 point favorite. after Texas wrecked UL, a comparable game to ours.

I was going to say 15.5 but I could see 17 for sure. I figured somewhere between 13 and 19. I don't feel like we know anything for sure on Miami because Alabama is likely to do that to everyone. Miami is surely going to be mad and they know they can't start the year 0-2 or else they have a huge hill to climb.
