Quick?
Was he open Sunday?
I watched the St.louis/Detroit game hoping to see him play, but didn't see him. I thought by his pressers he was a steal and was going to be the best thing since "sliced bread" for the Rams? Is he just not ready for prime time yet? Looked at the boxes and saw several with catches for the Rams, but no Quick.

Re: Quick?
BS-I'm a member of Turf Shows Times for the Rams and, while they are still part of SBNation, I have read several posts saying he was still nursing a back injury from that smash hit in the 3rd preseason game and he didn't practice but two full days in the last week of preseason and in this past week. I know what the story says but he was active according to NFL.com. That story was written by a fan blogger and not a real reporter. I read a little story on the Rams website that said he was just a little behind because he had been hurt and that the coaches were ok with his progress but he was still adjusting to the speed of the game. I think he'll be fine.Black Saturday wrote:Certainly disappointing...he's had 4 months.

Re: Quick?
Thanks, I saw the play where he got hit in that preseason game, hope he bounces back soon. I'm one who thinks he has all the potential to really have a nice pro career.firemoose wrote:BS-I'm a member of Turf Shows Times for the Rams and, while they are still part of SBNation, I have read several posts saying he was still nursing a back injury from that smash hit in the 3rd preseason game and he didn't practice but two full days in the last week of preseason and in this past week. Re: Quick?
From yahoo's fantasy notes:
"Quick did not have even one target in his pro debut Sunday in Detroit.
Recommendation: This is not the start that Quick or Rams fans in general wanted to see. There was a lot of hype surrounding the 33rd pick in this year's draft, and so far he's not living up to any of it.

Re: Quick?
I love the knee-jerk reactions of people. Quick has played one game and isn't living up to the hype!!!!! Give me a break. If he turns out to be another Dwayne Jarrett, then by all means rip him. It's been one game.biggie wrote:From yahoo's fantasy notes:

Re: Quick?
It is a load of c... I've been on the Rams message boards and other than two or three fans who have ripped everything the Rams did in the offseason most are understanding that BQ has been hurt and will take a little time. As of last night there was not even a single fan post or fan shot ranting about him, unlike the many posts a day ripping Armanti since the day the Panthers picked him. Most fans are saying he'll be the #2 receiver by mid season. I've read that in several posts and no one is disagreeing in the comments. We'll see what happens but I think most Rams fans are much more understanding and believe BQ will be fine, given a little time.ASUMountaineer wrote:I love the knee-jerk reactions of people.
