Im glad you are headed to the game with the right mindset. To fight unruly App fans by being an unruly App fan. I hope your daughter and son in law enjoy the game while you’re in handcuffs outside

Re: UNC Game
Just some information on tickets for the UNC game. If you are holding out for single game tickets for this game, you may want to consider purchasing season tickets. The cheapest tickets for retail are going to be in temporary bleachers in the End Zones and I was told that they would be $150 a piece. I understand that it seems like a waste to buy season tickets for one game, but that single game ticket is likely going to cost you the same price anyway.

Let them know that we have A&M the following week, even a tar-hole will understand pretty quickly that they ain't all that.bcoach wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 9:35 amI just talked to a unc grad who is getting "a kick out of us". Let me restate that. I just "listened" to a unc grad. He takes it as a complement that we consider them the biggest opponent we have ever played. He and his friends believe that we consider this our super bowl on steroids. He feels we should have a number of suicide prevention specialists on hand " when you lose". I did not respond as I never do with them. But after I walked away, as I always do, I had this thought. The jackass might be right on the money. We are building up the enemy. I hope the players don't buy into our frame of mind. We have much bigger games on the schedule.

Yeah I bought 2 extra season tickets for my daughters. I was told single game tixs won't go on sale till august and the UNC game is significantly more expensive. Have we heard yet is it a night game?AppSt94 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 24, 2022 6:41 pmJust some information on tickets for the UNC game. I doubt we know that piece of the puzzle until August or when ESPN picks games.Appmountaineers19 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 8:36 amYeah I bought 2 extra season tickets for my daughters. Re: UNC Game
If you follow this board you would think we have to tell ourselves we play A&M the following week. I truly have never seen anything like this. $150 to sit in a bleacher to see unc? I think the guy may be right.mike87 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 8:13 amLet them know that we have A&M the following week, even a tar-hole will understand pretty quickly that they ain't all that.bcoach wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 9:35 amI just talked to a unc grad who is getting "a kick out of us". Re: UNC Game
Are we building it up, or just taking advantage of the opportunity? The Heels travelled up the mountain to open up the Holmes Center and to my knowledge, that is the only sell out in the history of the venue. I’m not worried about the players and coaches.bcoach wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 8:59 amIf you follow this board you would think we have to tell ourselves we play A&M the following week. Re: UNC Game
This has nothing to do with being a "super bowl" and everything to do with maintaining our brand as the premier football program in the State. Currently UNC is claiming yet another springtime/recruiting championship, and this game serves as a litmus test to where our program currently is. Football wise- the A&M game is magnitudes more important, but locally, a(nother) win over UNC-Cheat does us far more good. I'm not surprised a UNC fan doesn't get it. A visual below.bcoach wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 9:35 amI just talked to a unc grad who is getting "a kick out of us". Let me restate that. I just "listened" to a unc grad. Re: UNC Game
$150 seems insane, but it's only insane if people don't buy those tickets.
I do worry about what this could mean after this year and next year, which will have the ECU home game. Seems like App is leveraging UNC tickets this year for a cash grab because currently it's 11 years before the next P5 home game.

Re: UNC Game
I don’t think it is a cash grab per say. The season tickets are $250 for 7 games which seems pretty reasonable. The temp bleachers are to serve in part the 3500 allotment that we have to give Carolina. Anything left over is going to be ask what you can get for them.
Personally, I have a bit more of an issue with those asking $400 and up for currently occupied seats on Vivid.

Re: UNC Game
Is the plan for the temporary seats under the NEZ to be used for our guest from unc-ch? Kind of odd to think about our team running onto the field with lots of blue around them....

Re: UNC Game
My worry is will charging $250 for a season ticket be seen as worth it in 2024 when there's six home games and the non-conference home games are ETSU and Liberty? I know it's part of the 3-year commitment period for donations, but there's no commitment to buy those season tickets.

Re: UNC Game
Why is $250 for 6 games unreasonable for any season, regardless of opponents? The three year commitment is to lock that price in for the tickets. So no, you don’t have to renew for 2023, but you would have to pay any increase to the plan if you come back to purchase again in 2024.T-Dog wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 1:29 pmMy worry is will charging $250 for a season ticket be seen as worth it in 2024 when there's six home games and the non-conference home games are ETSU and Liberty? Re: UNC Game
That’s not what I was implying. We have to give them 3500 tickets. The bleachers are in play to spread them out. So they get the seats in the designated visitors sections. I could see them moving the band to the temps in the NEZ and putting visitors in the seats normally occupied by the band, and the rest in the south end zone.jorpaynoasu wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 1:27 pmIs the plan for the temporary seats under the NEZ to be used for our guest from unc-ch? It's not. In fact it is too low.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 25, 2022 1:44 pmWhy is $250 for 6 games unreasonable for any season, regardless of opponents?
