Re: UNC Kickoff 12:00 PM
I’m there to see a football game. Everything else is just something to do until kick. If they played at 9:00 am. I’d be there ready to go.

Assuming this was decided by the TV powers that be.
Which network are we on?

Re: UNC Kickoff 12:00 PM
Tailgating before the game aside, it's still a pretty early morning for folks driving from say the Raleigh area. No telling what traffic and delays you might encounter along the way, so most will probably leave early enough to hopefully have their vehicle parked with an hour to spare before kickoff.
Having an individual preference isn't a crime. You can accept something and not like it at the same time.

Absolutely. A noon kick will pretty much force me/my group to come in on Friday and spend the night. And as always, App will have a lot of fans coming from at least 2-3 hours away./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote: ↑Thu May 26, 2022 3:32 pmTailgating before the game aside, it's still a pretty early morning for folks driving from say the Raleigh area. I think 94 actually highlights an interesting distinction, though: With kick times, as with bowl destinations, reactions tend to differ based on whether you're in it strictly for the sporting event or whether a football game is the centerpiece of a larger experience of spending time with friends and family.

BTW, for those who haven't seen the announcement, A&M will be at 3:30 on ESPN2, and Troy will be at 3:30 on ESPN+.

Re: UNC Kickoff 12:00 PM
Don’t get me wrong. I prefer the 3:30 kick times and I am usually in Boone by 9-10 am on game days for those contest. My point is that it is what it is. App didn’t choose the time. I’m sure that people are going to be unhappy because you can’t please everyone. I just don’t see any reason to complain about it since there isn’t anything that can be done.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Thu May 26, 2022 4:13 pmAbsolutely. Having said that, I’ve driven from Tampa to Mobile gone to game and drove straight back for the DG Bowl, same for SC, and a fly drive combo for Clemson.

Seems like the Marshall and GS games would get picked up by ESPN on some platform.
And of course, we will also be on ESPN in the CCG.

Guess I will be leaving the house at 5 AM to get there by 10 am. Sorta sucks. We should of had the 4 PM slot. Concessions will be swamped. Sure hope we got a lot of money on this raw deal.
GIVE 'EM HELL APPS!

Good luck finding a room unless you are going to rent a cabin.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Thu May 26, 2022 4:13 pmAbsolutely.
