Yeah, tried to buy a few last week and only high dollar stuff available. I am in desperate need of two more as we have friends coming with us to the game, if anyone is willing to sell a pair, please DM me, happy to pay any respectable amount. Parking pass not needed if you want to sell that separate.

Not to be a debbie downer but if there r about 4000 - 5000 empty seats we will know that unc fans bought a BUNCH of season tickets. I mean thats not exactly a game we circled on our calendars. Just sayin.

Isn't the Citadel game Family Day? That is always a big draw regardless of opponent. Remember that, we had over 30K for a game hosting Elon, so the opponent isn't the only driver.

Which is why they made this Family Day to make a game that is not as interesting as others a bigger draw. I suspect Homecoming will be a big draw, and not for Robert Morris as much as other reasons.

Re: Citadel Game a sellout!
I may be wrong...but why would a bunch of UNC fans buy a bunch of season tickets for one game. It is just one away game in the entirety of their season. I love me some App. St. ..so I am jaded and think every opponent would want to pay over $150 to come to the shrine of KBS... However, when I step outside my personal fandom...and an opposing team fan perspective...it is not like they are traveling to play Notre Dame on the road in South Bend... I would be surprised if they acquired that many above and beyond the 3,000 single game tickets they were allotted for the game in the visitors section. Just one person opinion

Well, quite a few Kentucky basketball fans buy season tickets at 3-4 programs to get in the game. They are fanatics. Sell what they don’t need if they can and eat the rest.

4-5k is high. But it's not hard to imagine Carolina grads or fans with kids at App, buying season tickets for that game and a few more lovely weekends in Boone. I am interested in the drop-off in season tickets and Yosef Club membership next year.

Who do we play in Boone next year? Do we have a good non-conference opponent coming in?

I’ll be curious what the numbers look like next year as well.. I know that they were trying to vett new ST requests to mitigate this issue.appgrad95&97 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 10:16 am4-5k is high. Re: Citadel Game a sellout!
If they did then this game is MUCH bigger to them than their active fan base is letting on.

Re: Citadel Game a sellout!
I know ECU might not pull the crowd that UNC-CH will, but I for one am massively looking forward to that. Big G5 vs. G5 matchup as I expect ECU will continue to improve this year and next.
I really don't understand why this Citadel game is a sellout but I'll take it.

Re: Citadel Game a sellout!
The sell out isn’t because of the opponent rather the occasion. Parent’s Weekend and Homecoming are the two consistently big draws. They also have the largest mass exodus’s at halftime.ArmantiWaterSafety wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 10:37 amI know ECU might not pull the crowd that UNC-CH will, but I for one am massively looking forward to that. Re: Citadel Game a sellout!
The folks that keep saying UNC fans are massively buying up season tickets at 4-5k clips seem way off the charts to me.
1. In the previous years pre-pandemic our attendance was getting healthier and healthier.
2. Last year we had a record year.
3. The SBC has several improved teams, i.e. Coastal, ULL, GaState, on top of our traditional GaSo.
4. The new SBC teams will absolutely bring more appeal and attendance.
All of the above are real contributing factors driving up the demand for tickets. None of them will go away in the near future thus we should expect demand to remain healthy for several years.
