We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

I get that it is great that we went on a 5 game win streak.

We still only won 8 games and got completely obliterated to end it.

It’s not all death and destruction but it’s also not all puppies and rainbows either.

Next year it’s put up or shut up time, and everyone knows it.
Yes sir! That’s where we’re at. Some say 2024 is our time but I just don’t see it.
I would agree with that and remember that Everts wants Shawn out. He is going to need to improve on this year or else she probably pulls the trigger.
What’s the evidence of Everts wanting Shawn out? Seriously, first I’ve heard of that. Not doubting, genuinely unaware and curious.

Competed until the 4th quarter, and then collapsed.
Headscratcher of a season. Let’s wrap it up with a bowl win, and go hunting for stud linemen.
I agree but we have been hunting for stud lineman for years and ......
UL and Troy seem to have found them??

We have three OL that made an SBC all league team. Not sure it’s our entire line that’s the issue. But their OL certainly fared better against our DL than the reverse. Our speed played a huge role in our success over the last five weeks. Tonight we were overwhelmed by their size.
We have lost several recent championship games in the trenches... repeat... in the trenches .

Dallas Cowboys win during the season every year and lose in the playoffs.

When is someone going to adapt to win a Sun Belt championship???

Nothing public but things she has done behind the scenes. Everyone I know who is well connected or that knows her says she has wanted him out. I have heard she never wanted him to be hired to begin with. Hopefully she won't be chancellor much longer. Everyone I like and respect tells me they would like to see her gone.

I am just trying to understand one thing. When coach was hired he had a mantra- Sandpaper that ass and Bombs over Baghdad. In several big important conference games the sandpapering was applied by the other guys. That's what we need to improve on.

Perhaps we’re using too fine a grit. We need to be using a course grade, like an 80 grit.

We will take anyone but Western Kentucky. This season feels pretty similar to 2021. Hope we salvage the bowl game. 9-5 feels a lot better than 8-6.

Well it has to be personal dislike of SC and there has to be a reason.

I’ve also heard she doesn’t like the old throwback Yosef because it carries a hillbilly/redneck/low class connotation. She doesn’t think it’s befitting of a university. Too bad for her that literally everything the athletic department puts that logo on sells like it’s gold.

You think she might hold a similar opinion of a good ole boy from West Virginia? One who spits on the field? Isn’t an ass kisser like his predecessor?

That's great in a locker room speech and pump-up press conference, but in reality, it's hard to actually implement and sustain the type of play that statement implied.

Point is, we don't have to win one every year to be considered a successful program. The poster asked when were we going to adapt to win a SunBelt Championship. I replied we had won 4.

We don't have to win one every year???? Yes we do... Thats the point of playing the games.... To win one every year! Now we may not win one each year but that's the whole goal.... Even the Coach says that.

Anyone who bases our program's success based on winning a conference championship every. single. year. will live a life of disappointment. We should strive to win it every year, but it's unrealistic to expect to win it every year.
