Re: ETSU and GA St now sold out
I think it is absolutely awesome that we have sold out season tickets for three years in a row and now we are beginning to approach general admission ticket sell-outs for every game. I posted on here earlier this year or last year about how App is #1 in the entire country in regard to average game attendance in comparison to stadium capacity.

We have a strong brand and an incredible fan base. I am so proud to be a Mountaineer!
Since I live in TX its hard to know how much relevance or promenance we have in the Triangle/Triad/Charlotte areas as compared to what I saw back when i lived in Raleigh in 2016 and before...if you're there now please let me know...but from the national attention, brand recognition and grass roots knowledge of our program seen here and elsewhere in the southwest I have to imagine its so much more that it was before.

We have something very special.
Just saw a post on X, from the BGP boys. Southern hosts Boise St and there are still thousands of seats available.
I repeat, we have something very special on the mountain.
GO APPS!!

I live in central GA now, but when I visit family in WNC and Raleigh, I see App stuff EVERYWHERE! I've seen App stickers on cars just about every time I go to Atlanta as well. The brand is certainly growing.kornegaylw wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2024 9:32 amWe have a strong brand and an incredible fan base. I am so proud to be a Mountaineer!

The game we played a couple of years ago against ECU in Charlotte was very well attended. And the atmosphere around the stadium was excellent.kornegaylw wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2024 9:32 amWe have a strong brand and an incredible fan base. I am so proud to be a Mountaineer!

It’s been said before and bears repeating: “There’s something about these mountains.”appstate24 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2024 10:01 amWe have something very special.

I was in Key West last week, had on an App football t-shirt... Heard "Go App!" from across the street.

I'm down at the beach. Plenty of App stickers and flags in and around Bogue Banks and inland areas. Got three App families in my neighborhood alone, my parents are ECU grads born and raised down here and have made the comments before that the Appalachian presence has grown tremendously down this way.kornegaylw wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2024 9:32 amWe have a strong brand and an incredible fan base.
