We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Tailgating

Unread post by ajasonwade00 » Mon Aug 26, 2024 7:40 pm

My daughter will be touring App St. on November 1 and we are hoping to catch the ODU game while in town. I would like to try and purchase a parking pass and tailgate so she can take in the game day experience. I have never been to a game at App St so I am not familiar with the lots. I’m sure they all have pros and cons but wanted to see what you guys recommended. Proximity to bathrooms and the stadium would be a plus for my crowd. Thanks in advance!

The closest lots to The Rock are the stadium deck, Justice, and the music lot. The only real tailgating at the stadium deck is on the top level. Duncan and Peacock are close as well. All have porta John’s but Justice is the closest to actual bathrooms. The stadium deck, again the top only, is fun but it’s largely an older crowd. Peacock will be a more rowdy crowd. Come early, I aim for at least 3 hours before game time. If your group is mobile take a walk up to Kings street and around the center of campus. I’m biased but section 204 offers the best fan experience. You can google Yosef club parking map and you will find, well, the parking map. Hope you guys enjoy your time on The Mountain.
