Just to share:
So Oregon State called Wake and proposed this;
Break the Ole Miss contract - play us once in Corvallis and we will play in Winston Salem two times.
Oregon State also offered to cover the penalty with Ole Miss depending on the contract details.
Oregon State not in a conference currently needs games, it's a more winnable game for Wake.
Wake had to take this deal.
We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Wake Forest contract details with Ole Miss
Absolutely the right move from the AD’$ $tandpoint. Poor timing and PR after the blowout loss though. The funniest part is their fans who agree with the decision trying to spin the current iteration of the Beavers as a “power” program. While unfair what’s happened to the PAC, they no longer hold an auto bid to the CFP, ergo not a P-team. Weak fans expect an OOC schedule of 1P, 2G’s and 1 FCS. Replacing Ole Miss with OSU, which I view as an attractive opponent, doesn’t technically fit this bill no matter how hard some spin it.
Deacs ‘25 Schedule feature: Kenn St., WCU, Blue Hens and the Beavers
Smart move on the Beavers part to throw some of that PAC war chest at a program that’ll likely be an ACC left behind if the P2 separation becomes reality. Guessing they hope this beneficial deal puts the Beats on a short list of ACC expansion candidates in the future to form a western pod with Calford.

Maybe we can play Oregon State if they need to add some games.

Play anyone in the PAC12 instead of Clemson, Georgia, Ole Miss Alabama, Texas, Ohio St, etc....
