Wasn’t able to watch the game but based on the comments and the stats we do appear to have something. Like many here we had zero idea what to expect. Lots of receivers, legit QB..a coach! And a defense that tackles.

Oh how different the feeling tonight than after last years opener.

It is still early so we don't need to get ahead of ourselves but we do look better. This team is better coached and we got more talent. We need to clean up some things but I think we are in great position. Even with Loggains being tight lipped the things that were leaking sounded much better and the game play tonight backed it up. Unlike when we heard it last year it is true right now that all of our goals are still in front of us!

Thinking back about the game…a consistent challenge over the past few seasons was how App struggled to find a rhythm on offense… even in games they won (e.g., ECU & JMU).

So I was pleased to see how quickly they established a rhythm against the Niners.

What I liked the most... intangibles...QB gets hit..other players coming over to help him up... Pushing and shoving happening...other players showing up to help..
100+ yard rusher at 5 yards per carry
should have been 40+ to 3.
I like it for a first game.
