Gillin: do the honorable thing and go away.
Football peaked 6 years ago and doesn’t look good for the future.
Basketball peaked 3 years ago and future looks murky.
Baseball is trending up but had been bad from 2014-2020.

Gillin doesn’t have much to hang his hat on now performance wise.

When the buyout for one position is too high there will be cannon fodder.

Next week will be interesting I’m sure, but unsure if it reaches this level.

I get the sentiments that someone’s head has to role to make some of you feel better, but what makes one think that Gillin’s head is it? Is it because the other guy cost too much? Gillin has bosses and they approved these decisions. At least two of the BoT sat in on the interview process and they too were impressed with Loggains. Do they need to go too? Hard to sit in that room and give your OK and then fire someone else for your part in the decision.

One of those BoT members just wants kids to slide down the hill. I’d be fine if he was not involved either. But he has money, so…….

Probably because all revenue sports suck right now and he wants to strap on many millions more in debt to fund expansion of a stadium that will be empty in the coming years if his team doesn’t get it together

Speaking of firings, Coastal has apparently fired Tim Beck. I guess beating us every year wasn’t enough to keep his job. Three years is about the limit for a new coach to win. A lot of head coach openings across the country.

3 games were lost by a field goal or less...1 by a TD and 2 pt conversion.

- Had we not had all the injuries on the OL and RB we would have won at least 1 of thoses.
- Injuries are not Loggians fault.
- The offsides at taking away the TD yesterday isn't Loggains fault

Go ahead and rip this appart...idc anymore

I wasn't referring to Ricks. Don’t think he was part of the interview process.

Two games were also won by four points or less... another by a TD (over Lindenwood).

Football teams play close games. We were not inordinately unlucky in ours.

Three of the teams we lost to by a score are 6-6. We could be 8-4 and not have a win over a team above .500.

This shouldn't be about one hire or one year.

Wouldn’t pour money down the drain expanding the stadium until the team improves dramatically. Attendance will continue to decrease with each mediocre season

It shouldn't be about Loggains, even if it will be.

Gillin has said he wants to raise the athletics budget from $50 million to $100 million in the next 10 years, yet right now they're "taking from one pot to put in another" for NIL.

Gillin talked about having sponsor logos on the field and court this season, and neither happened.

We've all talked about the KBS experience. The crowded gates due to terrible security setup the first two games, the inconsistent sound, the choke points, the expensive concessions, and what I heard from multiple people is the horrible food to the NEZ ticket holders.

Lack of any plan to refurbish Holmes besides a center hanging scoreboard.

The pushing forward of the East Tower plan and potentially burdening the program and school with over $100 million more in debt despite infrastructure issues with the rest of the stadium.

The lack of marketing for apparel. I know Riley who has pushed for this big time and he's been severely discouraged in his talks with Gillin.

The coldness in his communications. Just a bunch of form sentences and "Donate to the Yosef Club."

Singular focus on money. Every interview its about money. After the previous softball season, he said something about trying to make money off that top-of-hill seating overlooking the new stadium. Then there's the raising of season ticket prices in every ticketed sport multiple times and charging extra fees to buy non-football tickets to more than one event.

Winning cures a lot, but much of this has been building for a while. This doesn't mean Gillin has done zilch. There's a lot of positives. But there's serious concerns about his leadership that have nothing to do with head coaches.
