Re: CFL
3 it seems.

I did a search for Appalachian and found 3.
Wayne Smith is a non-import and came south for College it seems and then back to Cananda for CFL
And Ed Gainey and Mark Legree are imports to Canada.

Re: CFL
I like watching the CFL. I don't know if it is just a bit enough different to make it novel. I do like the longer end zones and the motion in the back field. I prefer the 4 downs instead of 3 and the better chances of a sack of the American Gridiron version. But there are parts of the Canadian game I like.WVAPPeer wrote:That's a great find - thanks for posting !!!McLeansvilleAppFan wrote:3 it seems.

I also like the Rogue point, and the chances of a drop kick when it would never happen in the American version of the sport.

Re: CFL
The Mooresville High School stadium is named after his father, Joe Popp, who led the Mooresville Blue Devils to a state championship. They occasionally hold open tryouts in Mooresville.mtnjax wrote:Not surprising that Gainey is with Montreal. Their GM is a Mooresville native and resident, so I imagine he is familiar with App State

Re: CFL
Mark LeGree is playing for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He had a tackle and an interception last night. The Riders played Toronto on ESPN2 and killed them.
