Re: Birmingham Bowl
What if that team is good enough to make the playoff the next year? Womp. Womp. I was specifically thinking about ND when I said an opt-out should include a ban the following year, not the handful of 5-7 schools ahead of us in the APR. You wanna go home and cry because you didn't make the playoffs?...

Excited that we get more football!! In a related thought, schools that opt out should be ineligible the following season.

Hopefully he spent his first year unlearning everything he picked up from Adam Gase about head coaching.AppDub wrote: ↑Fri Dec 05, 2025 7:05 amNot being a smart alleck here, but we shouldn't we think the same with Coach DL too?Cro-Magnon App wrote: ↑Thu Dec 04, 2025 11:54 pmThe coaches he worked with and the experiences he had at Florida should make Napier a better coach.

Re: Things to do in/around Boise
We are flying out to Seattle on Tuesday. Wife is going to see a Linkin Park concert and I’m going to the Mariner’s game. Heading to Boise late Thursday. Can’t help you with the activities around Boise as all my plans revolve around hitting various restaurants. I'm getting to Seattle on Monday and l...

Re: Shawn Elliot OC?
Ok someone please please throw out a viable list of available coaches who have been D1 head coaches and have won consistently and have also been to and won bowl games. Of those on what I’m sure is a long list (cue sarcasm) how many would be available in our price range? It takes more than a great c...

Re: The cancer on this program is
I don't think there is a cancer. Just a whole bunch of folks wanting the alumni and one of biggest fans of the program to be successful. It has failed to the point of embarrassment. Gillen is going to follow the directions of the big donors just like any other AD to keep a job. Gillen isn't a cance...

Re: King Street Flooded
For those around old enough to remember, is this worse than when Hugo hit? I would think so. I was in Bowie during Hugo. I remember the piles of dirt at the Mall but not anywhere flooding like this, though I also had enough sense to not be out and getting in the way to what would have been the wors...

Re: Gillin: We're not getting investment..we need from the local community
Any idea on how to even guess how much of those available dollars in the local community are going to the same thing, but somewhere else? How much money from within 30 minutes of campus is really going to another university? It's long been a point of pride at App, at least among I've met, to give 't...

This time yesterday, his seat wasn't hot. Not even warm. It may have even been a barstool in an ice bar. Today, it might be in the middle of the foundry.appgrad95&97 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 12:23 pmIf you are going to fire Clark, do it now.
