You know, I remember in the earlier bowl years, we would constantly talk about the group of "not very good 6-win teams" that get a bowl game and how the standards should be raised because those teams don't deserve a bowl. Here we are, 2 games left, fighting to be one of those not very good 6-win teams.

Honestly, I still think it should be raised. I believe 7-5 should be minimum to make a bowl. Being .500 is mediocre and does not deserve a reward.
