HC/OC = Clark
OL = New - Mario Acitelli
QB Pass Game Coordinator = Washington
RB Run Game Coordinator = Riley
WR & Recruiting = Watts
TE and ST = New

DC/ILB = Roof
DL = New
OLB = Smith
Safeties = Gasparato DC in waiting
Corners = Harbison
Is this speculation or legit?

How does one get access to the Lodge? Asking for a friend.
It's a very elite group that is part of the lodge and you have to go through a semester long hazing ritual/gauntlet to be approved. Only the strongest are allowed in.

Riley won't stay here to coach running backs when he's likely to get the same gig at Missouri. I'd venture a guess and say the only way he stays is if he is given some form of OC responsibilities because if he is anything like his brother, that's what's next for him.

Just because they are brothers, that doesn’t make them equally good. Remember Simon Peter Gruber? He was a good thief, but he was no Hans.

It's a supposition. Riley is a bit of a mystery.

Looks like Drink is retaining most of the defensive staff at Missouri...

Shawn has worked side by side with Riley for a year so I imagine he has a feel for whether he has what it takes. He could be a little less talented than his brother and still be a really good hire for App. LOL

Let's trust SC to build a strong staff. I would love to see Taylor Lamb back in Boone but maybe he needs to start out as an analyst for a year or two before being handed a position. We all know he's extremely intelligent and loaded with talent though, so I imagine he will do a great job at whatever opportunity he's given (whether at App or elsewhere).

So is it a given that Clark will be the OC? I’m assuming he will make the same base as the other guy? Same basic incentives? We should be ahead of the game a little with some extra cash to pay some guys aren’t we? I have no idea how all of the money swap works.

My guess is he won't be the OC...just because he's only called plays once. Drink and Satt were both experienced playcallers by the time they took over. We will see though.

I think that any posts about the coaching staff structure at this point are basically people posting opinions or hopes. We should know more over the next two weeks. I do think Clark being confirmed as our new HC will speed up the process because we will have more current staff remain.

I would think that Shawn will serve as the OC for the NO Bowl but I hope he hires or designates an OC rather than trying to do double duty next season.

Do you think that Zac is hoping to catch a TD pass this year?

I think he's going for the hat trick: Running TD, Passing TD, Receiving TD! :D

I would think that Clark will give Riley the first opportunity to take the OC job. If he turns it down, I'm sure we can find someone very capable to step in and continue what we have going for us on that side of the ball. I'm more worried about the defense to be honest. With what we are losing, it's going to be interesting to see how the defense comes out next season. At least we should get a good test in Wake before we head to Wisconsin for the toughest running game we will face for a LONG time!

I don’t know we almost got him killed this year on a couple of those pass attempts to him.

Speaking of Wisconsin’s running game next year, I believe Johnathan Taylor will be leaving early for the NFL.

There is someone missing from our list of "possibles". AE is 31 and is at the end of his contract with Toronto. Would he want to come back to Boone as a grad asst., offensive QC or analyst to see if coaching floats his boat?

I am hoping that he gets resigned as a player. He’s still very productive + he had a few years without contact, so that may parlay into a longer career.

He is indeed leaving early. They usually have a good running back but I can't imagine that the new one is as good as him.
