Was Daniel David offered somewhere else recently? He tweeted something about "it's crazy how just one offer can change the whole recruiting process."

I can't find anywhere he was offered elsewhere, but it sounds like he might have been.. Hope we can hang on to him -- he's a stud!

I saw the same post last night. Hadn't seen anything in the dead period and Mike and I have been looking all morning to see if anything has shown up today but haven't seen anything yet. He's not only a great recruit but he and Dez Reed have been two of the best cheerleaders for us with commits and offers from this class. Hopefully it's a general statement or a reference to someone he's been talking to. I'll update if anything appears.

Davis is coming next weekend. I'm betting the Miller will be coming with him. Not positive but makes sense that they would come together. Mike has a message into Brody Barrett to see if he is flying in from CA. I'll update that one when we know.

Add LB Darius Wright (6' 1" 230) of Hutchinson Community College (JUCO) in Hutchinson, KS to the list of visitors coming this weekend. I've had him listed for a couple of weeks in the Considering section since I didn't see an offer posted but with him coming for an official I've moved him to the Offers section. Player page with highlights was already built. He is a former teammate with App OL Shaq Counts at Irmo High School.

I'll keep updating as any other players post about coming for a visit.

I agree we should not tweet recruits....but if they are choosing schools based on what some "fan" says on twitter they are not a very sophisticated 21st century social media user...I'd give them more credit than that.....

....as for "pissing" matches....we made a statement as a team the last 6 weeks of the season....there are going to be more "pissing" matches to come....

agreed. i don't even follow them. the only one i followed last year was AJ Howard, but that was just because he made a hilarious response to Tru Johnson after he decommitted from App. never tweeted at him though

I think he was just talking about the recruits coming up and that this was sort of their "coming to school" moment and now they are like apart of the family.

Mr. Cross is right. I saw that one earlier and I took it that DL was talking about the group of commits. Several of them are planning no more visits so they are as solid as they can be right now. Next weekend is going to be the big one as we've got mostly uncommitted and committed elsewhere recruits coming in. I'm sure we wanted to spread out the commits to help with these guys but just appears this is the way it worked out. We should have Davis and Miller here at least. Not sure if Barrett is going to try and make the trip. We'll know this week.
