Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. The current Navy Rate IT came to exist in 1997. Prior to that there was RM(Radiomen) and DP(Data Processing Technician). So at that point the Freqs(RM's) and Geeks(DP's) were one in the same. The American Radio Association is now an affiliate of the ILWU but until the merger around 2008 they were the smallest union in the AFL-CIO by a good margin. The ARA seems to represent both RM and DP types at this point.
The Horseshoer's Union was another very small union but they changed their name and moved beyond horseshoeing a few years ago.
