oops...i meant baseball season. this loss stinks...it doesn't hurt like the montanan game but a loss is never easy. to see it differently, there was no way jackson could sustain play for three more games...not the way he looked and as they say, it is what it is.

A lost never feels good and it shouldn't, but this year was much better than last. We went up against a very good team and our guys played their hearts out. With JJ unable to move it really hurt our chances. We have several areas where we need to improve, and as the year went on we did for the most part. We have what, 5 to 7 new coaches? A very young team that will improve.
I was afraid today that we would be man handled in the trenches, but from what I saw, our D line shut down the run for the most part. O line was not eaten alive. I personally did not believe early in the year that we would make it this far. After the Maine game last year, I had no clue where we were going, but did not feel it was up. After this year, I feel good about the future of ASU football. There are some big shoes to feel with the loses of Kimbrough, Grier, Miller etc..., but we have guys that will. With Scott S. running the offense, things looked a lot better this year than last. Give him a couple of more years to bring in some recruits that he and the other coaches want, and we should be just fine.
The feeling we all had today at the end of the game, is the same one all other fans will feel except the fans of one team. Only the Champion walks away feeling good. We had that feeling for three years in a row, and I want it back
GO APPS!!

For who? Alabama, Georgia and Notre Dame? Heck, even Wofford and Georgia Southern. For Appalachian State football season came to an end 3 hours ago.

Martin may be missed the most. He put us in great field position all day and we just couldn't take advantage of the situations. Moore was wise to make him the first scholarship kicker. Hope to see him on Sundays.

You will. Usually NFL teams try and find a player who can both kickoff and kick field goals. The punter is in most cases another player. Sam can do all three but he is best with KO's and punting so he can at least save the one roster spot by pulling double duty even if he doesn't do FG's also. If he works on his field goals then he is gold to any NFL team since he's three roster spots in one. That's why so many NFL scouts have been at our games, along with a few other seniors but all are looking at Sam. Good Luck on Sunday next year Sam :!: :!: :!:

Based on sheer scope of programs for us to feel like Michigan we would need to lose to someone like Davidson, not the 16th ranked team in our division. Have to hope there are BIG changes in store for the f'ball program. Come on Coach Moore, time to call it a career. You've had a great run but it is time for a younger guy take over.

What I meant by the Michigan game was the blocked extra point only, not that we got beat by ISU. Guess I should have made that a little clearer.
