Football celebration?
Quick question, in years past when we had championship seasons we always had a basketball game where the football team was honored. Anyone know if there are plans to do this again this year? The Georgia Southern game later this month seems like a perfect time. I purchased one of the signature footballs at the Camellia Bowl and would love to fill it up with signatures and add to my App memorabilia and man cave. Anyone know?

If you are a football season ticket holder, this is a good opportunity to use your free basketball General Admission tickets that came with your football ticket package.

That helmet was worn when I was a student back in the '80s. I doubt you'll find any apparel with that logo.

Yeah, I think that helmet was either Sparky or Mack's idea. Never was crazy about flyin Yosef but John Settle sure did make it look good at times.Lowcountry App wrote:That helmet was worn when I was a student back in the '80s. I doubt you'll find any apparel with that logo.

Re: Football celebration?
I was at App from fall of 85 to spring of 89 and I believe that was the only helmet App wore during those years. That is why I added it to my profile. Coach Moore's first team might have been fall of 89 and used the block A.
