App v Tenn Moved to Thursday Sept 1

The positives with this Thursday night game is prime time TV coverage, it opens up the entire Labor Day weekend and gives the players a couple extra days to rest before ODU comes to town.

Yep, as far as I'm concerned it's a win-win. Of course if App doesn't play well, we might wish nobody was watching on TV.

I love it. Doesn't interfere with NC dove opener. Last time we had a big game, I was in the field instead of watching us defeat Michigan!! My cell phone lit up that afternoon but I didn't check messages until late. A great day all around.

Well damn. I can't make it now. Already was a stretch for Saturday given the fact I knew it likely would have been a noon game. Now that it's a middle of the school week for my kids, the wife isn't going to be OK with me leaving her alone to tend to the kids.
