1 if ASU win it could help ASU get well known and help ASU most likely get into a big bowl game
2 the TV coverage could get ash good attention by well known colleges
3 it could help ASU get more BCS teams to travel to app
4 it could help app get more game on national TV
5 it could help ASU recruiting
6 it will probly break ASU all time home record for attendance
7 it will be a historic win for the mountaineers
8 it will bring a lot of money to ASU
9 would get ASU there 8 win over a ACC school
10 it could be a instant classic game or a big upset and get shown on TV multiple times

I'm with you on all but numbers 1 & 10. Undefeated season is the only way we get consideration for a better bowl IMO.

Miami will be ranked no higher than 20. Unless we overcome a historical deficit I can't see this being an instant classic. 07 Michigan was instant classic material. The Miami game some outside of App State probably feel we can win. Nobody believed that for Michigan

I hope that we don't get banged up at Tennessee. We need to come out of that game healthy for ODU and then also to have any real shot against Miami.

And then pray for health rest of way. It's hard to believe we finished 11-2 last year with all the key injuries that were sustained.

I think ODU game for us is the same situation TN has playing us. Supposed "cupcake" game the week before an "historic game".

While I hope TN looks past us towards their next weeks game, we have the potential of doing the same. ODU has every reason to come in fired up and if it's close into the 2nd half the pressure will really be on...everybody in the stadium will be like "oh sh*t, forget about Miami, we gotta get thru this mess 1st"...

That's a fact. Wilder and his team were completely humiliated last year. He will not let his guys forget it. They will come prepared to play way over their heads. If we allow them to play that way, we'll regret it before sundown!

Shuler Bentley will fill the Boone sky with 50 pass attempts and ODU has a few guys who can catch and run. The Lawry kid can run through gaps if we leave any.
