Same happened when Bama played at Duke a few years ago. However, I don't see that happening much in this case - Miami is pretty much on the opposite end of the spectrum from Bama/ND in terms of how well their fans travel (or even go to home games, for that matter).3rd wrote:This is what happened with Wake a few years ago when they played ND. The ND fans bought a ton of season tickets then sold the other 5 games on the secondary market. This sucked for Wake as visiting teams fans bought the secondary market tickets so visiting and wake fans were all mixed throughout the stadium. (Not that I see our other visiting fans bringing that many up here as ACC teams did to Winston.Budman2154 wrote:Was with a friend of mine at our local watering hole last week (he's a huge Miami Fan/grew up there). He asked about single game tickets for the big game and indicated he had seen prices on the secondary market that were fairly high. I convinced him (Miami Fan) to buy 2 season tickets and join Yosef at the $100 level which if the prices he is seeing is real, saves him money. He was ecstatic! Good news, his sister went to App so she will be the benefactor of the remaining game day tickets. I also told him I would provide the beverages to drown his sorrows away after the game!

Limit 4 tickets and 4 general admission tickets for Miami (Fla.) game
Ok so does this mean I can buy 4 extras next to my season ticket seats in addition to 4 general admission tickets? (8 total)
And is this per account or per season ticket? We have two season tickets under one account.

Re: Single Game Ticket Update
The way I read it, you can buy 4 reserved seats (they probably will not be next to yours but will be in the stands) and 4 general admission (which will be on the hill or in the student section). The number you are allowed to purchase is based on your giving level and not on the number of season tickets you buy.Gonzo wrote:Limit 4 tickets and 4 general admission tickets for Miami (Fla.) game

Re: Single Game Ticket Update
I believe that's per account. I could put a hurting on available tickets if allowed to order 12 tickets for each season ticket I've purchased. Instead, I'll order 12 for our whole season ticket account ... assuming I have 12 folks in addition to our regular crew who want to go. I'd much rather have them all join Yosef!Gonzo wrote:Limit 4 tickets and 4 general admission tickets for Miami (Fla.) game

Next Monday starts the run on Miami tickets. Any of you big donors that get some, let us know how it goes. My YOSEF level is later in the week and I need 6.

I upped my donation level to gain a day on the ticket purchase, the campaign worked like a damn charm on me! hahaha!

Re: Single Game Ticket Update
Reached out to the ticket office today. One area that is grey is the club seats. For those that are club seat holders but give less than 5k a year you are eligible for Monday as well and can purchase up to 8. Sounds like they've added staff for Monday as well, which will be needed.
