Another great podcast posted last night. I will have to say I agree with C that Barbour replaces Sims as our "go to" guy on 3rd and medium. His position lends itself to more routes on that down and distance than Meadors. I still think Shea has the overall best season of our WRs though. Also I'd look for Burns to catch 50% more balls this year, especially in the first half of the season due to the inexperience in the group.
Idea for next week: can you provide us one newcomer or player that didn't play a lot last year at each position that you think people will know about by the end of the year? I.e. Duck at DB.

I thought our go-to guy on third and medium was whoever was tightly covered 20 yards downfield?Saint3333 wrote:Another great podcast posted last night. I think you'll be seeing Fr Darrynton Evans filling that role as well. He's coming out of the same position, is fast, and has great skills with the ball in his hands. He'll be used more on the option plays Sims was used in at first given he's still working on catching the ball, being a HS RB moving to slot but when he gets the ball he's electric. Already receiving rave reviews from camp. Unless they get injured in camp he and Virgil will both be playing this year. No shirts.

Thanks for being a loyal listener, Saint! You've always been very supportive of what we do with the show on MMB.
Here is this week's episode... Also, YES! Big C's volume isn't always great. We'll make sure the angles are better next "LIVE" episode!

Go to guy on 3 and 8 better be whoever can catch and hold on to the football. With this many young and inexperienced guys it's going to be the one we know can handle the bright lights and be willing to take the big hit to keep the chains moving.
