We've seen all 3. Think Lamm started. Kilgore did for sure. Both looked good. Blair got in with what I assume to be the second team. Didn't do anything all that noticeable but certainly didn't look bad. Both Lamm and Blair look bigger than what I remember.

Blair got high praise and photo shot info on screen from commentators. He bull rushed through and racked up QB once but QB managed to release pass before hitting the deck.

On Blair topic.....they talked about how incredibly strong and quick and fast he is......things we already know.

Kilgore started and looked SUPER! Back true to form fully recovered from injury better than ever.
Commentators talked about how lucky 49ers are to have him back and at the helm at Center position.

How is this possible coming from a small school???????CornCobPipes wrote:On Blair topic.....they talked about how incredibly strong and quick and fast he is......things we already know.

Re: Texans at 49ers 7:00pm tonight Sunday
I heard them use the 'Small School' reference to at least one other G5. Didn't get to see the start of the game, so I missed seeing Kilgore and Lamm play, but Blair got some good playing time and several mentions (of course he is from Appa-lay-chen state), also several mentions for Kilgore near the end of the game.Rekdiver wrote:How is this possible coming from a small school???????

Lamm played well with the exception of one sack allowed. Blair was praised for taking up multiple blockers to free up the inside.

Did they make the obligatory "Michigan" reference? No pro or college game on the main channels complete without it.

Don't recall any Michigan reference.......the slants I got were almost as if you were supposed to know who App State is now......but they did murder the pronunciation of Appalachian as usual.

Having 3 linemen in one NFL game is very impressive for a non P5 school as most people say the difference between the P5 and G5 is most noticeable along the line.

Today at 49ers camp:2. DE Ronald Blair. Unblockable during 1-on-1 pass-rushing drills. Blew by Ian Silberman and Norman Price, neither of whom laid a finger on Blair.
