UM Update
Miami's DE Al-Quadin Muhammad and LB Jermaine Grabe, the schools best pass-rusher and leading returning tackler, have been permanently booted from the team as of today. Could play a role come 9/17

Re: UM Update
Good to see some integrity in the ACC. Star players in Chapel Hill would never get a boot no matter what they did. Gotta respect Richt for that.

Re: UM Update
Both guys next on the depth chart for these two positions had playing experience last year. Trent Harris finishing 6th on the team in tackles. Losing key players is always crucial, but at a school like Miami the next guy in line would probably start at most G5 schools. Larger impact for their season as a whole. Don't see this loss meaning much for our game against them. Does it work out in our favor? Hell yes. Do I think it could sway the potential outcome? Not so much.
Agree with Gonzo though. Richt similar to Charlie Strong with the take no crap policy will help the program in the long run. Boosters wont like the key players being kicked off and it's impact on current games, but it will help in the long run.
