Best seat in the house Thursday night
A non response post I bet, however the best seat in the house for the shown down in Knoxville will be my recliner, the 55 inch HD with a Sony Soundbar, a grill cooking burgers, beer in my fridge, and a restroom without a line near by.
I am sad I am not attending the game, however I will be loud enough that my SEC loving neighbor will know that their team in the East ran into the Mountaineers from Boone.
If you are going to the game, yell loud and proud and wear black.

If I see you on TV, I will pause the screen and take a picture. You know you got in on that during the bowl game, Go Mountaineers, Go Apps.appstate1998 wrote:Will do, WV. Looking forward to seeing you at ODU. Counting down the days!

Re: Best seat in the house Thursday night
Pleasantly surprised to find that I'll be able to watch the game on my local cable. I would have thought I wouldn't get the channel. I have never surfed to channel 384 but checked last night and we get it. Don't have to hit a sports bar or restaurant!!

Re: Best seat in the house Thursday night
I picked up Sling TV this week just to make sure I got SEC Network so I could see the game. I have never paid $25 to watch one game on my tv before, but happy to shell it out for this! My wife is tired of me giving her the updated countdown to gametime each day so she'll be happy come Thursday too!

You will like Sling, it has most of the App games on it with the access to ESPN 3 and other games as well. One of the best values in TV.

I'm in the middle of moving and have to move some stuff over with some help Thursday night. May miss the first bit of the game (but am recording).
New 60" 4k 240hz TV in the living room though. Vizio sound bar with sub and rear speakers.

I couldn't pass up $800 for that one (LG) a few months ago, couldn't even use it in the old house.WVAppsfan wrote:You got me on the screen size, be safe moving.biggie wrote:I'm in the middle of moving and have to move some stuff over with some help Thursday night. Moving is the worst thing ever. Been going on for over 2 weeks.

Re: Best seat in the house Thursday night
I was in a meeting last week and one guy said when you unpack from one home to other it is like Christmas morning for the next six months. I do not disagree with you, I moved two years ago and still have boxes that hold unknowns for me.biggie wrote:I couldn't pass up $800 for that one (LG) a few months ago, couldn't even use it in the old house.WVAppsfan wrote:You got me on the screen size, be safe moving.biggie wrote:I'm in the middle of moving and have to move some stuff over with some help Thursday night. It's been 6-7 years ago, so don't remember. But see that fathead is carrying App stuff now.WVAppsfan wrote:Where did you order the APP State stickers?
Saw this, decent deal compared to most fathead prices. My big one is the bad mascot.

Re: Best seat in the house Thursday night
I'll probably cancel it after the game - already have access to ESPN / ESPN 2 / ESPN 3. I did a free trial about a year ago and will say Sling TV is working much more smoothly and looks a lot better than when they launched. I feel confident when they sort out the ability to stream on multiple tvs with all channels in the package (including the Disney owned channels) that we'll be customers of Sling TV. Really don't like that it's limited to one tv at a time. I can understand limiting it to one location at a time but not one tv.WVAppsfan wrote:You will like Sling, it has most of the App games on it with the access to ESPN 3 and other games as well. Re: Best seat in the house Thursday night
If you have access to a PlayStation 3 or 4 you can sign up for PlayStation Vue tv service. My wife and it just moved and picked it up and it is great! It blows sling out of the water. In Charlotte I'm paying 35 a month for 75 stations including ESPN 1 2 news U and sec for the game Thursday. Once you sign up for it you can watch on Roku app, app devices and Android devices. You can also watch on ps3 ps4 and you get unlimited DVR. You can also watch the service on 6 devices at a time. The only caveat is you have to be on your home network. I'm so glad I ditched att uverse.

Re: Best seat in the house Thursday night
We had tickets and hotels booked to make the trip, but when they moved the game to Thursday night there was no way we could make the trip. I teach high school and did not want to miss three days the first week of school. My son has a football game on Friday night too.
Travel safe Apps and have a blast!!!
