I think having Horton as HC and Satterfield as AHC and OC would be ideal. That said I would certainly support Satterfield as the HC. Whomever is the HC will need to address the defensive side of the ball.

Put me in the camp that thinks a Horton/Satterfield combo would be great as I don't think Satterfield should be a shoe in for this job. Why would we pass up the experience of Horton for Satterfield. Look, I love Satt but the guy does not have much experience outside of our fine university.
I have a couple of questions for y'all. Would Satt have the balls to fire Dale Jones as some have recommended? Also, how much better was our record this year than last? I know he had a young team to work with but if evaluating this season was part of the hiring process then I am not so sure that we will be better with Satt at the helm.

If the majority of people on here are in agreement they would prefer a Horton/Satt combo I guess we can assume that isn't going to happen.
I agree though.

The record may have only been better by one game, but the offense was head and shoulders better than last year, or have you forgotten how truly painful it was to watch and how we wasted the considerable talents of Brian Quick, while the committee debated whether to run the ball to the left side or right side of the center?Coloradoneer wrote:Put me in the camp that thinks a Horton/Satterfield combo would be great as I don't think Satterfield should be a shoe in for this job. I see no reason not to stick with the plan. If Coach Moore is retired now, Scott Satterfield should be our head football coach.

Well the problem with that is they claim that was not the plan87ASUgrad wrote:I see no reason not to stick with the plan. If Coach Moore is retired now, Scott Satterfield should be our head football coach.

Anyone else ever notice "they" and their actions suck sometimes. "They" will create Chaos = [Def> the confused unorganized state of primordial matter before the creation of distinct forms].bcoach wrote:Well the problem with that is they claim that was not the plan87ASUgrad wrote:I see no reason not to stick with the plan. Seriously though, I hope Coach Satterfield is named our head football coach soon.

That may be an example of failure to plan IMO.Kgfish wrote:Another plan gave us Jason Capel.87ASUgrad wrote:I see no reason not to stick with the plan. If Coach Moore is retired now, Scott Satterfield should be our head football coach.
