UPDATE:

"Based on what I observed today, Armanti looks like he will be on the active
roster Friday.
He was working with special teams so that's usually a good sign. He has been
operating with the second-team offence too as a receiver.
It should be interesting to see if and where he is utilized.

Cheers

The latest from riderville.com ---
"Just a few plays later, rookie receiver Armanti Edwards made a desperation, leaping grab in the endzone for a touchdown reception that looked like a catch only Spiderman could have come up with. Jones referred to Edwards as the “smoothest” receiver the Riders have and the Appalachian State product honed those skills with the NFL’s Carolina Panthers for four years follwed by stints with the Bears and the Browns."

The latest depth chart lists #10 Edwards and #11 Gainey! Looks like the GOAT is back in business.

GO ROUGH RIDERS!! ..that doesn't roll off the tongue just yet, but I'm excited to get to see AE in action again! Let's all hope he's able to get a real shot this time.

Edwards has made it off the "Six Game Injured" list and on to the 2-deep chart for the woeful Roughriders. The Roughriders are set to play the return game of the annual back-to-back series with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers tomorrow in Saskatchewan at 4:00p Eastern.

Hopefully AE gets some snaps and targets, Lord knows the Riders need all the help they can get at 1-9 for the season . . .

Armanti is starting today. The game is on ESPN3 as we speak.

So far for AE, 6 catches for 59 yrds. Nearly broke one on a screen play.. He is also blocking well and lined up once to return punts.

Thanks for the heads up. I started watching and AE is looking good! That touchdown was classic Armanti.

Gainey just made a huge play to break up a deep pass in OT and getting announcer love.
