Nov 5th local hotels

Unread post by biggie » Wed Oct 26, 2016 2:22 pm

Anyone know of anything for 1 night?

Wife and I are possibly getting a free night away from kids and was going to stay after the game.

Everything booked that I can find right now and of course cabins require 2 night stay. And was trying to be under $150.

Thanks

How far out are you willing to go?

The Nations Inn in West Jefferson is showing rooms.
Can't speak to the place, but not a bad drive.
That's what I do. I gripe and I know things.

Yeah I'd like to stay Boone, BR, or BE. But I'll see.

You can get a little cabin at Flintlock for like 60 a night . . . may have a 2 night stay minimum, but for the price, just leave it empty.

You can get a camping cabin at Grandfather Mountain Campground for cheap and usually for one night. Also, right near the Grandfather Mountain Winery which has been mentioned on other threads as being really good. I wouldn't know, wine is wine to me.

Grandfather might be an option, don't think I've ever seen where their cabins are. Still waiting on one kid to see if he can stay overnight with grandparents, then I'll try to call them.

Thanks
