For some reason I can't create a new post under our usual football section so I am posting in this section. At any rate, I can't get into our appstate.com site. When I try, I get a popup showing getting tickets for a bowl game. Is anyone else having this problem?

Re: appsports.com
It's a banner ad. Click the x (or the link saying enter site) and then it let you in.

It's in the very far upper right hand corner of the bowl ticket popup on mine. X encased in a circle.

You are probably using an older, out of date browser then. Try updating your browser and trying again.NewApp wrote:Unfortunately there is not one.AppStateNews wrote:Click the big button that says "Enter Site" on the bottom third of the ad.NewApp wrote:Woops, I just tried that and there's no X on the screen.

Yeah, that is what I was just told on the phone to ESPN. I'm afraid I'll lose all my Book Marks or favorites.AppStateNews wrote:You are probably using an older, out of date browser then. Typically, when you update your browser and use the same "brand" (i.e. upgrading Internet Explorer 8 to Internet Explorer 11), it will import your bookmarks.NewApp wrote:Yeah, that is what I was just told on the phone to ESPN. I would recommend getting Chrome. I know on installation of Chrome it prompts you to bring all your favorites over.

My IE doesn't work well and I have Chrome just for my 11 year old. My computer guy is coming tomorrow morning to update it. If I try by myself, I know I will monk it up.AppStateNews wrote:Typically, when you update your browser and use the same "brand" (i.e. upgrading Internet Explorer 8 to Internet Explorer 11), it will import your bookmarks.NewApp wrote:Yeah, that is what I was just told on the phone to ESPN. Thanks for the advice, though. You have to keep in mind that I am computer illiterate.

Thanks, EastHallApp. But I don't think mine has that button. I am away from home at the moment, but double check when I get home.EastHallApp wrote:Just in case:

Thanks for your help. My computer guy tried updating my Firefox and it didn't work, He finally installed Opera and everything worked if I can just get used to using it. Thanks for everybody's help.
