Re: App v UT
We are NOT even a decent basketball team. Not negative. Just stating an obvious fact. It's bad.

Yea, this is really bad. Passed up a lot of shots only to deliver a pass to someone who didn't seem to expect it. Kinda mind blowing.

Re: App v UT
No moral victory here- Chattanooga blew them out. Our players are not quitting at 0-2, but we better start getting a few W's soon, and I don't mean Montreat either.

Re: App v UT
Going to be another season-long growth process. I know people get tired of being asked for patience but the is truth is this is still a young team. I admit I did hope to be more competitive tonight.
Re: App v UT
UT is not very good this year but we made them look like a Top 10 team tonight for much of the night. If we are going to compete (even in the Sun Belt), we must do better against the press and must play significantly better on defense. Our defensive play was horrifying tonight. On the positive side, the team did not quit and freshmen Good and Robinson look like they will be major contributors this year. Hopefully we can pick up some D-1 wins soon.

They played much better in the 2nd half but that full court press in the 1st half was giving our guys fits. Shabazz and Good looked great and they are just sophomore & freshman years. Bodes well going forward.

No, we will not win the conference. However, I don't think we will be the cellar dweller either.HeffnerIV wrote:I don't know that we'll win the conference but this is definitely a different and more complete team than we've had in years.
