Scott Satterfield and Dabo Swinney sound a lot alike.

Re: Clemson
That was the most complete game that they have played all year. Dominance from whistle to horn.

Re: Clemson
Ohio State was over rated before they were selected for the playoffs, and proved it to the nation last night.

Re: Clemson
I don't know if they were over rated. They did beat some very good teams this year. That being said, I didn't think they should have been in the playoff./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote:Ohio State was over rated before they were selected for the playoffs, and proved it to the nation last night.

Re: Clemson
They should not have been in the playoffs, but they were given a number 3 ranking by a committee who thought highly of them. That is why I say they're over rated. College GameDay spent all morning talking about Ohio State, and then they get blanked. Not just lose, but shut out in a National Semi-final game.AppSt94 wrote:I don't know if they were over rated. Re: Clemson
Michigan gave away a game to FSU as well. Not the finest hours for the B1G. Washington and Penn State up next....

Re: Clemson
I don't think OSU was overrated based on their season prior to last night. Just a really impressive game by Clemson. Interestingly, there has still only been one close game in the entire CFP history (last year's title game).

Re: Clemson
Is it just me or does Dabo not get the respect he deserves? He's not seen as the same quality of coach as Saban, Meyer, et al, but here he is in a second straight national championship game and his Tigers just absolutely dismantled the Buckeyes.

Agree, but you know how it is - have to win the big one. Saban and Meyer have eight between them.JakeASU wrote:Is it just me or does Dabo not get the respect he deserves? The other thing that's not really fair is that Saban and Meyer (and Harbaugh) have that all-business, no fun "football man" persona. Swinney probably loses some media gravitas because of all the dancing and goofy interviews. Bet his players eat it up though.

Yes - just proves there are different approaches to being a very successful coach ---EastHallApp wrote:Agree, but you know how it is - have to win the big one.
