MBB vs Troy
Down by one at half. (33-32)
Kelvin Robinson is back and showing real flashes of what he could contribute if he can stay on court.
Both teams are turning the ball over quite a bit and thankfully that's helping keep us in this game. Our three poin shooting is 4/15 thus far. We're taking tough shots and it's not always our best shooters taking them. There is a reason some of y'all are left open outside...
Our defensive effort has been solid though and hopefully we can keep that up heading into the second half. Eventually the shots should start falling... right... ;p
I think we pull this one out.

Re: MBB vs Troy
Another game and another really bad start to the second half on the road. Down 8 3 mins into the half. Got it back down to 2 points and now back out to 13 with 7 minutes to go.
0 road wins in the Sun Belt likely at this point. Not good.

We always seem to find a point where we come unglued and let the opposition go on a big run.

We had 19 fouls to their 6 for the game. That's a big difference! 6 fouls for the entire game, I don't remember a game that I have watched with that number of fouls for the entire game. They shot 27 free throws to our 9.

probably not good enough yet. just judging from high school highlights, I would think speed and athleticism would be issues.RollNeers wrote:What's up with Zach Cottrell not getting any PT this year? Is he hurt or something because he was a player I was looking forward to see playing.

You know...The white helmets grew on me for football, but those damn basketball shorts...I don't think I will ever be a fan.

agreed. I like the simple look of the gold ones they've worn a few times...wish they could wear that style in black./\PP ST/\TE GRAD 09 wrote:You know...The white helmets grew on me for football, but those damn basketball shorts...I don't think I will ever be a fan.
