Looks stellar. I would have prioritized track removal over a new scoreboard, but I know it's not that simple. Hopefully soon...

Folks, removing the track can't happen until or unless we have another track facility. Period. Besides, the cost of a new track facility compared to the cost of a new scoreboard is akin to comparing buying a mansion versus buying a singlewide.

The elevation 3333 could go on the top speaker wind screen.

Have you noticed the step ladder in the lower right corner of the score board? I thought the speakers looks small. Not. That thing is really big.

A lot of jokes were made about Howard Knob, but you really could watch that thing from a dorm.

(anyone who would chose to watch from the dorm instead of going to the game should be expelled)

Looks great. You know I've never really been one pressed to move the track but seeing something as big time as this video board in the same frame as the track has me more and more against the track.

Strange question...but does anyone know if video board contracts, in this case with Daktronics, includes graphics packages or the like? I would assume that there is quite a bit of set-up time and time is somewhat of the essence here. Part of me thinks a lot of the graphics customization, at least for the standard things like colors and phrases, like what we are seeing in these first-lit photos, would be a part of the deal, but I'm curious if anyone knows how that process works. Will we be operating with a slimmed-down graphics package this season, maybe expanding as the season goes along, or is a board like this pretty turn-key?

All the graphics I saw yesterday were stock. They were doing customs today.

Couple photos from this morning. Only the support beams left of the old board. End zone seating starting to go back up.
