APP STATE / SAVANNAH STATE

Unread post by WXAPP » Tue Sep 05, 2017 4:48 pm

Lot's of things going on with Irma and the future impacts for NC. Irma, in some form, will impact NC from the mountains to the coast. I'd expect, at the minimum, heavy rain, powerful winds, tornadoes, Monday and Tuesday of next week. Much will change, monitor you weather source of choice (Spectrum News!) for further updates.

Irma will have ZERO impact on Saturday's game. So, come on out, as the first home game of the season will have splendid weather! (for now). Sunshine and cool mountain temps will be the norm for the day.

The Breakdown:

8 AM: M.Sunny - Near 50

10 AM: M.Sunny - Mid 50s

NOON: M.Sunny - Near 60

KICKOFF: Sunshine - Mid 60s.

HALFTIME: Sunshine - Mid 60s

GAME's END: M.Clear - Lower 60s.

Keep in mind, while in direct sunlight, add 10 degrees on how things could feel. So, not bad.

Let's bring home a win this Saturday!

GO MOUNTAINEERS!

It's going to be a beautiful day for an App State victory!

Hey WXAPP, I live on the West Coast of Florida, just below Tampa. What are the chances that this beast is going to level my house?

Thanks for the pick me up. I don't have Spectrum as I use Amazon Prime. Schools are probably closing Thursday so my wife and two of my daughters are heading to NC tomorrow night. I will most likely be out of here late Thursday or early Friday.

No changes.. still looks great! But, don't linger... will need to either prep your homes Friday or Sunday. Irma fixing to pay a visit here in NC. Big question where and who really gets hit hard. Prepping for the worst, hoping for the best.. with Irma that is.

Hope Savannah State feels the Mountaineer'cane!

Having said that, they may need a place to ride out the storm... Savannah won't be it. Don't know that I'd point them back home.

Good deal! Can't remember many September games, at least in the Modern Era, where I might need a light jacket in the shade of the APP side as the game goes along.

For those who aren't in Boone...yesterday and today (so far) have been damn near perfect early fall football weather.
