Re: Entrance fireworks
Yes this is unacceptable .... Unless it's some kind of NCAA ruling or something.

Re: Entrance fireworks
I totally missed their entrance because of my pocketbook! Had to hike all the way back to the car and leave it
Nothing in my season ticket package about the new policy either. All these years and nothing in my purse has ever "endangered the players".

Re: Entrance fireworks
I know this is picking a scab, but I'm watching on ESPN3 and have heard the band play one time so far and we have 8:40 left in the 2nd QTR. Maybe they play during TV commercial breaks?!
When I watch SEC games and even the prime time games tonight like Ohio St/Oklahoma I guarantee you will hear the bands more so than the pumped in radio music.
I will say I can noticeably hear a difference in the speaker system through the TV!!

TO THE PTB: most of the music and announcements are WAY, WAY TO LOUD here in the stadium! and WAY, WAY too much of it (although it is some good choices) It is annoying as sh*t, pardon my french.

Re: Entrance fireworks
While I sit here commenting on our band not playing enough, it could be worse...

Lot of empty seats. Guess everyone is saving the motel money for Wake.

Re: Entrance fireworks
To each his own and I am not criticizing you, but just curious, what was there to enjoy about the entrance? I mean, it was just the team running through the cheerleaders? Nothing special about it at all without the awesome fireworks. I did love the video though. First time in years you could actually clearly hear Sean Connery's "welcome to the rock."

Re: Entrance fireworks
Glad to have these problems, as compared to what they are facing in Statesboro, right now.
