That Clawson presser is worth a watch. Be on the lookout for a surprise cameo by none other than Adam Witten.

"Prediction-scoring formulas run on this game pointed to a potential 34-24 result in favor of the Mountaineers early in the week. That outcome may change during the week, if injuries alter the models, so check the college football picks page before game time. My daughter mentioned via text on Tuesday that she saw J Moore in a boot on campus. That may be old news on the board, and it could be some mind games being played but it was noted he was dinged up at TxSt. Hopefully he is ready to go.

Yeah it could mean just about anything - even if were already seen as probable for Saturday my guess would be that they would have him wearing a boot around campus for safety and support

A position of depth to begin the season is thin now. RB3 and RB4 went down vs SSU and Moore was dinged last week. Get healthy quick boys!

Now my daughter is reporting she saw Lamb with his arm in a sling. Again, could be some mind-games being played here. Just reporting what is being passed along.

I doubt any of that is mind games, unless your daughter's playing them on you.

That is possible with my daughter, but I am just hoping neither are hurt to the point that they are not close to 100% on Saturday. My theory would allow them to be ok on Saturday. I am basically playing mind games with myself so I can convince myself they are not hurt bad.

No time to find post online but another good article about App football in this morning's Greensboro paper.

Usually the articles flow from W-S to Greensboro but I think this article like the one yesterday from Ed Hardin might find itself in other BH Media owned papers.

If you have a minute drop Ed an email to thank him for the coverage. Greensboro has done very few original articles over the years, so it might be good to let him know it is appreciated.

Can someone share the details of Moore's situation and prognosis for Saturday? I don't want to sign up for a newspaper just to read an article.

Not many specifics. Sounds like maybe an ankle - was in a boot Tuesday but not Wednesday. Satt, as ever, not giving much away.

The article did say that Satt mentioned Marcus Williams as an option, which I take as a good sign for his health.

Just clear your cache/history and you can read it. WSJ gives you like 10 free reads before you need to reset your history.

By "game time decision" I kind of doubt he plays.

If he's in a boot, i dont think he does either. Hopefully we at least get Marcus Williams and Evans back..... I guess we will see....

Im also worried we wont see Shae or Virgil either. This is a lot of fire power gone.

Didn't it say that he was "walking unassisted on the sideline" yesterday? The boot on Tuesday. My guess is that he dresses but is used sparingly (if at all).

Here's hoping we have been holding them out , being overly cautious until now , and that we open the playbook with the firepower available. Otherwise KBS is going to be crazy Saturday.Secondary market ticket prices are climbing by the hour.

I want to see a 2 TE set this week with Reed (6'4) and Papenheim (6'6). Surely we could hit one of them across the middle to A. open up the outside throwing and B. make the D back off the line.
