No, but Mississippi State handled them and they just got waxed by Auburn who plays UGA

Re: Troy v. LSU
Great win for Troy. Since we don't play them this year any question of how we'd match up is irrelevant IMO. But I do suspect they'll be searching for a new coach after the season.

Re: Troy v. LSU
You don't need the transitive property to figure out that Georgia is much better than LSU.

Better question might be how LSU compares to Wake. That might be a pretty even matchup.

Re: Troy v. LSU
Definitely, LSU definitely looks like a dumpster fire right now. Got smashed by Miss St (who has been drubbed the past two weeks) and now loses to Troy. Plus I think Coach O's buyout is something ridiculous like 12 million. Not a good time to be a Tiger fan, I was questionable about that hire from the start.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2017 9:39 pmBetter question might be how LSU compares to Wake. Damn, after this game though I'd give anything for them to be coming to Boone this year! I think we'd win on our turf, but that's not the time for this. Congrats to the Trojans on a historic win. Can't wait for us to get one again soon.

The ole this team beat that team so this team can beat that team because this team is better than that team who won on the road to this team after beating that team so this team is better than that team argument.
Wonder what many Wofford and Georgia Southern fans thought in 2007.

Hail to the Trojans! They're a great team and I'd love to play them this year...it'd be like the Wake game last week with back and forth lead changes and he who makes the fewer mistakes wins.

Re: Troy v. LSU
Good for them. Slightly made me cringe as it brought back the what-could-have-been feelings of Tenn and Wake. But overall happy for Troy and the Belt.
LSU...bad hire, compounded by a bad contract and bad buyout ($8 million) to get out of it. I don't think anyone in the country has wasted more talent in the last decade than LSU

Re: Troy v. LSU
Congratulations to Troy. They stepped up and delivered. I am jealous because we did not do what we had to do against either UGA or Wake.
UGA is in a different league than LSU this year.
Wake is good (not UGA level but still good) and we should have beat them but we didn't do all the things we needed to do.

Re: Troy v. LSU
Wonder what most fans prefer:
Go 6-6 with wins over Wake and UGA then slip into a bowl?
Go 10-2 with losses to Wake and UGA, win the SB and go to the same bowl?

Re: Troy v. LSU
You never can tell with Arkansas State. They've been unimpressive so far, but might get things rolling for conference play....AGAIN.
I think Troy is clearly the better of the two teams at this point. I really wish we had a head to head with them, but if we do wind up sharing another championship, I'd rather share it with Troy than with Arkansas State.
