I'm not going to win this season prediction thread any how and with all the injuries, mishaps, game prep questions, offensive coordination questions, penalties, and did I say penalties! .....( however, I've been impressed with the play and potential of so many of our young players and new kicker,
realizing just how much of a beast Boggs is becoming)......so with all this said and having a WTH moment here goes....and I'm sticking to it!

At 5:45 PM EDT this afternoon, it was cloudy and hot in Monroe, LA. 85°F, 59% humidity with a heat index of 89°F. Tomorrow's forecast for Malone Stadium is almost identical. Overcast and hot with the heat index lurking at or near 90°.
I have no prediction for the game's outcome. I was notoriously bad at predictions during earlier message board days, so my common sense and superstitions now make me avoid picks like the plague.
It's pretty obvious, however, that our "O" needs to dominate possession time and keep our "D" on the sideline AMAHP. Our guys will be battling with considerable inexperience (again) due to all of our injuries; battling to avoid the mistakes and dumb penalties of the last few games; and battling the home field advantage of UL-M. The heat could become the X Factor. That worries me.
