Bowl eligible...feels good. Now we need to get healthy with the extended open week for the stretch run.

We're goin' bowlin'!

And we made the Stink 0-9

Not the greatest season we've had recently but at least those two things have been accomplished. Now lets get a nice long rest before we go to Cobb Land.

Man that was dumb going for it on fourth down, and the play call too. Meh!
I need to watch it in TV, but from my seats it looked to be designed to go right and the RB went the wrong way.

Just got back from The Rock. Wish more folks had been able to make it (announced 23000 +) not bad and Funbelt needs to schedule this game on Sat. Congrats to team. Listened to post game on the way down the mountain and Satt was excited about team, the game and 2 weeks rest.

I noticed some of our early naysayers here didn't have anything to say after the team got their legs under them. Team had high energy tonight.

Watching replay of holes and Pitt. Holes going for it 4th and one & stay in the shotgun. Announcers discuss better under center or shotgun and have pros for both.

Last night was a workmanlike performance. Just beating a team you are supposed to beat like a drum. That looked alot like last season.

Always a great day to be going bowling.

Despite all the complaints I'm reading from last night (and the ones I was making at times while watching in the stands), the D finally showed back up. They are still dinged up but more passion that we've seen in a long time. GS has returned to some basis and unlike earlier in the year, they protected the ball and had zero turnovers. Even with that, we more than beat the spread for the first time in a long time.

I'll take this as a very positive sign. Excellent effort by the team. Yes, a few mistakes but much less self inflicted pain. It felt much more like App football!

I was at the game and given the two losses in a row we've had and how bad GS has been this season and the fact it's Thursday night I thought the crowd was pretty good. I sit on the West side and it seemed to be fairly full with just a few spots here and there. Also, most stayed longer than the first half which has not been the trend. Those who did leave missed that fantastic fiddle player we have reprising her performance of the Devil went Down to Georgia..just awesome. Overall I think we supported the team well and they paid us back with a strong showing not allowing the Stink, to stink up our either of our endzones. I'm happy this morning.

Good game App State! Beat the spread, running game looked good with two freshmen, Harrington took care of the ball, defense shut them down and our new kicker hasn’t missed in three games! Definitely an improvement!

Ventured over to 111 from 204 to watch the game last night and had a great time. Definitely a more lively and fun crowd than the crusty old bunch (except for Big C and co.) that I'm used to sitting next to.

"O & 9!" Chant late in the 4th was awesome, ruffled quite a few feathers down on the stink bench.

Offensive scheme has no rhyme or reason? These coaches do any preparation or game planning? Satterfield looks completely apathetic on the sideline. Ho hum? Wake up coach! Lead!! Act like you’re in charge!!
Really??? - This is the Coach Satterfield most of us love - calm, cool, collected just like he should be - all this BS action by some coaches on the sideline make me puke - I believe the guy who has won 24 of 28 SunBelt games - that's a 24-4 record - MIGHT JUST KNOW WHAT THE HELL HE IS DOING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Old man ramblings...Staton,well done ,happy for that lad and us.Reed trying to take out a guys knees?!?! Worst GATA I have ever seen.Harrington , good recovery after two nightmares- that's a big deal folks.Williams, just Williams. If I was GS I would go after Mike Houston JMU.Thursday or Wednesday games should only be scheduled after bye weeks for both teams,it's not healthy for the players. We would have had over 30k on a Saturday.Fake punt sealed the deal, well done SS .Gee how the mighty have fallen,be thankful App nation.Notice some of our 2018 commitments are getting P5 offers. Was hoping to see Zac Thomas on the last drive.Remembering " Can you score" carved in the end zone snow during my first App-GS game,Tracey Hamm the answer was NO and my feet are still cold...enjoy the win and if you get the opportunity, thank a veteran because they make all of this possible.....God bless them all.

Good workman like win over an inferior team....something App hasn't done lately. After the first GS drive the defense gave them nothing. Lamb only threw 13 times and 2 were perfectly thrown TD passes. We can see that our future at RB is very good. Stink now 0-9 and the series gap is growing against App. It has been a little bit of a disappointing season but tonight feels great and I can start Bowl planning.

Great to be a Mountaineer!!!

I also think the fake punt more than anything took them mentally out of the game. I liked the 4th and 1 decision & the fake. Shows your team you believe in them.

Btw now 10-3 in 13 games since 2004 vs GSU!

Just saying.
