Georgia Southern out does themselves ....again.
Well, at first you don't succeed, make another mistake. We have hired yet another coach that has no business at a FBS head coaching position. We could have had Kennesaw State's coach and turned this ship around, but no, we hired a chair slamming WWF guy (see video on the La Laff game this year) with no head coaching experience. I hear he is a good guy, but with only about 130 or so FBS positions, you would think that and 700K would get you a better candidate. The real problem here is a team does not take a chance on an unproven coach....we can not afford to do so. A few more years and it is back to FCS or drop football all together. I have been a fan since the late 80's and I am amazed at our football leadership....not in a good way. Oh well, I will continue to be a fan of our history and hope for the best.

I've never seen anything like this guy. Perodically drop by another team, re: hated rivals, board to bash his program and then moves on. While not being able to fathom the motivation for doing so, I always thoroughly enjoy it.

Step off of that that ledge and back to safety. What is it you come here seeking?EmperorEagle wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2017 4:43 pmWell, at first you don't succeed, make another mistake. I had a rough day today, but this guy has instantly turned it around for me for some reason. That is hilarious to me. Please keep up the random anti southern rants from time to time.

Although I think it's lame to come to bowl bound App State's message board to vent frustrations about Georgia Southern, he does make some valid points. With claims of being a fan since the late 80s, you'd be hard pressed to find a fan of any team who hasn't expressed their displeasures in the last almost 30 years.
As for the O.P. I think you should shift your attention to your basketball team. That might be the future.

Like they followed App to the FBS, they are now following a former App asst coach as their head coach.

Did you misplace your Berry message board bookmark again?EmperorEagle wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2017 4:43 pmWell, at first you don't succeed, make another mistake. Re: Georgia Southern out does themselves ....again.
Nope, I still have my Berry bookmark....lol. Hopefully my son will be going there for a full ride cross country scholarship. I still buy tickets and T-shirts for GSU games, but my extra money will be going to Berry. GS has not learned from past mistakes as is evident with the latest hire. It is not that it is impossible for next year to be 12-0 ....just not likely. The problem is, you can not take that type of risk with a FBS program. You wouldn't hire the pet center manager in a discount store to run a Fortune 500 company. Anyway, you flightliners enjoy the joke that we have become. As for ASU fans, Mobile is a great town, but make sure you get inside parking at the stadium as it is well worth it. Mobile puts on a great bowl experience....as I still remember when we were at that level. Take care.
